Adults come to Craven Literacy Council with different backgrounds and personal goals. Just by walking in our door and asking for help, these people are taking a huge step. Some come for a few months to learn one particular thing. Others stay for years to earn a high-school equivalency or study for the US citizenship exam.
Every person’s story is different. The challenges may be different; the goals may vary. But all involve a commitment to improved literacy as a way to a better life.
Here is a collection of just some of the success stories about CLC students.
